Today I am going to be talking to about the Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar.
I have had this Pull up Bar for about a little over a year now and I use it almost every day and I love it.
It is a really simple, easy piece of workout equipment.
I usually do not have time to go to the gym so I use the Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar to work out at home.
It is a Total Upper Body Workout Bar for strength training.

Exterior outlook of the Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar
It is a pretty simple brand. With black color handles and steel tubing. The handles are made out of rubber with a pretty decent amount of foam gripping. That characteristic makes them actually super comfortable to hold which is nice thing itself.
It comes disassembled so you will have to put it together yourself. It is, however, fairly easy to assemble it. They give you all the tools and everything.

Features of the Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar
- The Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar offers a pretty wide array of exercises that you can do with it.
- It has a neutral grip, so it fits right on to pretty much any doorframe. I think it works with door frames that are about like 24 to 32 inches wide. That should be pretty much any standard door frame in your house. You do not need to drill anything or screw anything. You just prop it up in the way it is constructed and it just holds on there.
- It is also super lightweight so you can easily transfer it from door to door or move it around your house and store it if you need to.
- It is actually very portable so I can put it away when it is not in use. When people come over to my house and I do not want this thing just hanging around, because I usually put it up in my kitchen, I take it down and throw it in the closet.
- It is very easy to use.
- It fits very nicely into any of my doors. No wall installation is necessary.
- According to the manufacturer, it has 300LB limit on the amount of weight it can hold. I am about 150 pounds and actually supports me pretty well. I usually feel pretty safe and secure on the Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar. I have had some friends over at my house that have tried it out who are a little heavier and it doesn't look as secure. My buddy is about 200LBs and when he tries it, it looks like it is bending a little bit in the middle. If you are around my weight, 150pounds, it should be pretty solid so you won't feel like you are about to like rip out the wall or anything with this up there.
Wear and tear?
I lift myself up on this pull up bar and I have used it for about one year now.
The form grips are still okay but it has a bit of indentation where I grip on when working out.
It has no scrapes or tears or any really noticeable wear which is great.
Other uses of the Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar
Another thing that I don't normally do but you can do with it is; you can place it on the ground and do push-ups or dips with the sole elevated bar.
Disadvantages of the Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar
The disadvantage of this Pro Fit Iron Gym Pull up Bar is that it leaves little black marks on the walls where it has been attached. I have actually put it in other rooms before just to see and after a while, I think due to the pressure, this material is rubs off and leaves those little marks.
You can probably put some tape or something like that on those areas to protect it from coming off.
